I had been holding off on Twitter for some time now, but after being convince by Lisa (@ www.walkingspree.com) to try it out, I've got to say that I've been pleasantly surprised.
Benefits of Twitter
- EASILY let MANY people/friends, know what your doing?
- Learn from your friends!
- Simple: Easier than blogs (restricted to 140 charaters), smarter than IM.
- Integration: Blogs, RSS, Anything.
This year, I decided to do something totally different for Christmas. Instead of receiving/asking for XMas presents, I've asked for a donation, to an Educational cause on ChangingThePresent.org.
I challenge all of you to do the same:
- Ask for a Donation or Gift, instead of a present.
- Buy a Gift for someone in place of a present.
